    Hatching

I have some cal kings that are starting to hatch. 5 are pipped and one came out. I really like how this one turned out and hope there are more like it. It is from a banded female to a dit dot male. It looks like it is already going into shed so I can't wait to see it once it has shed.

Number 2 is out and couldn't decide if it wanted to be banded like mom or dit dot like dad. The crazy thing is it's belly pattern is checkered until the dit dots start and then it is clear.

That second one has a crazy pattern! I'd love to see a pic of it less coiled up on itself to be able to see the pattern better. I know they don't always cooperate and you don't want to bother the babies too much, just wishing the pic existed.

    Congrats on your babies!

EDIT: More of a straight down from the top angle might be more of what I was hoping for in the pic.

    Re: Hatching

My camera battery died and I have to go see my nephew who is returning from Iraq today but tonight when I get back and the battery is charged I'll get another pic. Here are a couple more of it. I also have another one that hatched that is kind of cool so I will take a pic of that one as well. Thanks
Here are some other ones of it I didn't post

I tried to get more of what you want with that one but they really don't like to hold still. If this doesn't do it let me know I will try a deli cup pic next. If I go too much over them the flash washes them out. I may also have to try outdoor pics.
    Hatchling 2

Here are some of the others that hatched out. The last two I didn't take pics of were both standard bandeds. One left in it's egg and I have another clutch of 10 from the same dad to another banded girl (this clutch's mom's sister if that makes sense)

    Mark there is a problem.
This problem is that you have too many pretty snakes.

You make me want more pretty snakes.
    And they're all fantastically beautiful.

Why must you do this to me. D:

LOL thanks I had a great weekend with all these guys hatching out. I have a pastel clutch due next week too (I know) another dinking female so I'm excited to see what she throws. Also had some cresteds, gargoyles and corns (amel, anery and snow nothing special) hatch this weekend. They kept me busy.

    Such interesting varieties you have!
Pastel what? Pastel bp or something else? (I don't know if there are other pastel lines in other species.)

That would be why your signature says you have a pastel RTB?

Otter, your hatchlings are all so beautiful! I think #2 is my fav but #3 looks pretty cool too.

And we won't complain if you post pics of the plain banded ones.
