Water topic!
In another forum the interesting topic came up of what kind of water to use with herps, or more specifically--boas. I want to fine tune the statement and run a poll here. ALL HERPS and what kind of water you use. Please post what you keep and what type of water you use for their drinking water. Any other info on this topic would be great. It won't be a bad idea to give an estimate of how many of each kind of herp you keep too.
I'll start- I use tested well water for over 200 boas, but I'm moving to an area that has city water...thus the curiousity.

Re: Water topic!
I hear you, but a valid point was made on the "chlorine" levels having an impact on herps. I can understand a good dose of chlorinated water having a bad effect on smaller herps, like geckos.

Re: Water topic!
there was a piece on the news here in cleveland last year after the ceo of fuji water made some remarks about the citys water on the bottles, the city had indepented test done on the fuji companies water and the cleveland city water done and it came back that the city water tested better in arsnic(sp?) chlorine and a few other categories. i feel comfortable using it.

Re: Water topic!
ive been using bottled water for my snakes, for the fact I was nervous about the chlorine levels harming them. After reading these posts I think im going to switch to the tap.

Re: Water topic!
Tap water works for me and my animals... 2 BPs, a beardie, a cat, and a dog... The only animal I treat the water for is the fish...
