    He isn't talking about it being cool. He is talking about 80-85 degrees. When my rat room was too hot in my old place I always kept the fan blowing on the rack. Never had a problem with illness. Now if he is using a 10 gallon tank and is going to put a fan blowing directly down into it, that's another story.

    I wasn't arguing, I was expanding. I don't want people to think that blowing fans on rats all the time is necessary.

    If it's over 80, it's fine. But anything under can do more harm then good.
