Anybody got a scrub?

I have just been to my local reptile room. They have a scrub aru in there that is a bout 2-3 years old, i'de say he about 4-5 ft, they have had him for a year and he eats like a horse but doesnt seem to be growing that fast, has anybody got one,i know its Austrailia's biggest snake. how big do they get in captivity, and whats their general temperament like? he is a beauty, defo my fav snake, too big for me thou, shame there isnt a dwarf version like there is of the rectic!

There are dwarf scrub pythons. The Aru population is much smaller and seems to grow to about 7-8ft.
