Re: best mice
As for the size to get, get regular or slightly smaller. More than likely jumbo mice are retired breeders from somewhere and they do not have much left in them. Its always better to start raiseing young IMO.
Are you sure that you want to breed mice for just one corn? It will cost more buying the food and bedding every week then it will buying one mouse once a week for it. Not to mintion their upkeep and smell!

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Yup, just not cost effective to breed mice for one corn.
On the other hand, you could buy bulk for the one corn. If he's full grown. Buy a bunch at a show (sooo much cheaper than petco) and just feed them off one by one until you run out. If you'd even prefer, buy bulk frozen.
Or co2 the live mice yourself and freeze them for later use. Save on the shipping.
Knowing how much it costs to raise feeders, I would advise you to save your money and use it for bulk purposes.
Just my .02 cents

I agree. Breeding feeders is a lot of work for one snake. Doesn't seem cost (or time) effective.
