Oh! Coconut sleeping pouches work well too, I have a pouch with a coconut half in it that I bought and they never get caught in it, once all 3 of them squeezed in it and slept there.. I'll get a picture of it for you later tonight.
Oh thats a great idea with the coconut!! Thought I would have to commission PetCo for those elf hats....I swear those things are great...looks goofy with little elf ears, but the gliders love em...
thanks for the photos....my camera is horrible, I would be ashamed to post my photos

Heres the coconut pouch..
Its really cute, when I got it they all got so excited for it and cuddled together in it, they still prefer it over the fleece pouch sometimes. I know there are hides out there that are all coconut (like with a hole in the center) that may work well too because then it would eliminate the fleece for the nails to get stuck in.
This is the site where I got the coconut hide and all my pouches/hammocks from http://www.gliderdaydreams.com/

They're fun to have once you get a routine down with them, if you do a lot of research before hand it shouldn't be a problem!
If you do plan on looking into them these are a few points I think you should focus on: They need to live in pairs or more (unless you have 4 hours a day to devote to a single glider), they need to live in large cages (mine are in a really nice big birdcage, it was only $150), you will have to make their food (BML and HPW are some popular diets, I do HPW).
If you get serious about looking into them let me know, I'm part of a really great glider forum that has been a lot of help!
Thanks for the info Edie! Post some more pictures!
