    I for one am glad that Jas brought this into the spotlight. Reading the snake and its body mass, and its fat reserves, seems like the way to go. If I were in doubt about a female, I would let her wait another few months or so. If it were obvious that she was not going to be ready, I would not try. But Luna, my '06, I paired her up with my Spider and she is showing signs of being knocked up She is around 1100G and fully built for the task at hand..
    I like that this is in the Advanced section. I wouldn't like to see newbies trying to over-power-feed their girls to rush into breeding. I think that yes, people should breed their larger girls first to see just how much weight Is lost.. and then factor it all into their decision.
