New Fuzzbutts
Ferret Math strikes again. We now have 3 ferret children. We had already put down a deposit on Damien, a dark sable kit. The Ferret Nation Model 142 cage came in this afternoon so we went to pick him up. He has been caged with a little light colored female since we put the deposit down on him and she has a biting problem. We started carrying her around the store while we picked out a water bottle and of course we decided to bring her home too. So now we have two new little babies. I'm uploading pictures now so I should have them up soon.

My husband really wants a ferret but I say we have enough of a zoo as it is. I LOVE the critters though, they are so cute and personable.

Re: New Fuzzbutts
When I was younger I didn't think ferrets would make good pets. Now, I can't imagine my life without one.....or three. They are just so awsome and playful. They get into everything. I can't wait till these two are out of QT and Twitch, our first ferret can play with them. If you have the space, time, and money to get a ferret, definitely do.

Re: New Fuzzbutts
Many people in California have them anyway. They are only illegal because Cali thinks they will escape from their owners or be let loose and form a wild population, which is actually a really stupid theory.
They are loads of fun and absolutely adorable. We plan on eventually having a rescue of some sort in a few years when we have a house. Maybe one day Cali will take that stick out of a certain place and lift the ban on ferrets so we can move to Cali. We are thinking about moving out there anyway but we are worried about possible hurdles if one of them gets sick or if they find out we have them. I don't want to do anything to endanger my babies, but California is somewhere we want to live, so we are crossing our fingers.
