    Any advantage to cutting eggs?

Just wondering if there was any advantage to cutting eggs as opposed to just letting them naturally work their way out.

If the eggs do not soften due to humidity problems and they are too hard to leave alone and hope the babies can pip or if after a few days of the first coming out, no one else has pipped are the only real reasons I can think of.
