    Question First Feeding

I'm going to try feeding my BP tonight, it will be the first attempt since i bought him. I've only had him for 5 days now but last night he was very active and seemed hungry, watching and following my face/hands around when close to the tank. I know he hasnt eaten for at least a week. I got 2 frozen "hoppers" and they look to be the right size for him. Now, I've never fed a snake before, and I remember seeing a video here about feeding but of course now I cant find it. Am I supposed to like dangle it in front of his hide? Or wait for him to come out of his hide? Or take the hide out all together?

Oh and I've already thawed one mouse and have had it in a dish in my room (where the snake is) for about 20 minutes now.
