New to the forum; first BP home; 2nd ordered...

    Hi

I´m new to these forums and I´m not a native English speaker, so have patience with me.

I have a 3 year old sinaloan milksnake

and a 2 year old male Jungle Carpet Python

but the bug for Royal (ball) Pythons has allways been there...

So, recently a friend of mine gave me a 3-4 months old (normal) female BP. He had her for 2 months with an older female and - comprehensively - she stoped eating. She had missed 4 meals in a row and since he didn´t have the room to separate her, he gave her to me.
When she arrived at my home, I put her on a scale: 122g.

I let her settle for a few days and tried feeding her a medium adult mouse (15g). After a few minutes hesitation, she took it!

5 days later, I tried again. She didn´t hesitate at all; 5 days later, another success feeding. I think she´s on her way.

I don´t have pictures yet - didn´t want to disturb her - but will post some in the future. Her name is Accra.

In another month I´ll also have another BP. A 2007 Pastel female (NERD line). Beautifull girl !
I´m just waiting for the confirmation from the seller and then I´ll post a picture.

Next year, I´ll get a male spider. At least, that´s the plan.

So, this is it for the timebeing. Hope to learn a lot from you all.

Hello and welcome to the site!

Nice looking snakes and viv. I'm glad to hear about your new Ball getting her appetite back, and it sounds like you're pretty well prepared for your future snakes. Can't wait to see the pics.
