Class Project-help with fun facts
I have a class project/speech to give on Thursday for my Honors Seminar.
It is a class about creativity, so I came up with a game that very young kids can play that involves reducing irrational fear of traditionally scary animals like harmless snakes, bats etc. The list could go on and on.
So here's what I need help with. Part of the game involves fun facts about the animal to increase knowledge.
I am using a ball python as my example animal prototype.
So I would like to put together a list of fun facts about balls that are good for very young children. They would go something like:
"Did you know that ball pythons are not poisonous and cannot eat you?"
Very simple stuff like that to dispel fear and increase knowledge!
Thanks in advance!

Re: Class Project-help with fun facts
Here you go...
1. Ball pythons are secretive and naturally shy.
2. They got the name Ball from rolling their bodies into a protective Ball when frightened.
3. Ball Pythons are more active at night.
4. Ball pythons eat rodents that could be destructive to the environment if overpopulated.
Hope this helps

Unlike Tiggers, ball pythons do NOT bounce.

African royalty is said to have worn living ball pythons as jewelery or accessories; hence their "other" name of Royal pythons.

That's interesting. I have never heard that. Where did you learn this?

When I got my first ball python back in the 6th grade (1986) I had a little book about them that mentioned it.
Since then I've seen it in a lot of places - books, online, interviews, etc
