Vet Visit!
Well i took my big girl to the vet today which i've had for three weeks because she is still sick even after a round of baytril. We put he on the scale and in two weeks she gained 150 grams!!!!!!!! She must have been pretty skinny. So we dont know what she is sick with so we got a culture done today and we'll know the diagnosis later in the week. Wish her luck. -Josh

My boa got one baytril wound that appeared after her first shed after the round of antibiotics. I did not get a vet opinion on what to do, because my old vet would not talk to me unless I paid her $50, and the wound was cleaned daily and I never saw a sign of infection. I went ahead and put neosporin on the wound since I had been advised to use neosporin for a BP that had some rat bites. She has shed once more since then and the wounds are closed now and healing.
I would say just make sure the wounds stay clean, if the wounds seem to get worse or become infected than take the snake to a vet to make sure everything is okay.
Thats just my opinion though, it worked for me and my boa.
