Not a good idea - you can find a trillion threads on this if you search but the answer is still the same, it is not good practice.

I wouldent do it but some people do and they dont have problems... But they might not be able to breed (together) when their older if they are keep together too long...

    Re: Keep 2 balls together

Why keep them together? 2 setups will be a lot more ideal for this for many reasons that you can research.
If you plan on owning more than one snake, you should consider getting tubs. There are loads of threads on that as well in the husbandry forum.

    Re: Keep 2 balls together

reasons to keep them separate include:
-stress. they're not social creatures by nature... one WILL dominate the other. to you, it'll look like cuddling but this is far from the case.
-feeding two snakes together is a horrible idea. i don't think I need to explain that one...
-if one snake gets sick, both will likely get sick. do you want double vet bills?
-if one has an abnormal stool or regurge, how do you know which one it was so you can keep an eye on it?
    -cannibalism. nuff said
    -accidental mating

i had mine together when I first got them. After I separated them I noticed the difference right away. They both seemed happier and healthier... and grew MUCH faster! hope this helps!

    Re: Keep 2 balls together

Yeah; you don't want them prematurely breeding before they are ready. Especially the female. And even with adults, it is best to house them alone; Melanie said it well!

    Re: Keep 2 balls together

I agree, housing BP together is not good for them. The only time they would see eachother intentionally in the wild would be to have a quickie, and get on their ways. Some people do house BP together, but its not normal for them, and I use a rack personally...
