    Re: BCI or BCC

For instance, BCC Suriname Boa will get about this big

    http://www.boa-constrictors.com/Bilder/BigBoa.jpg

BCI like your average petco Columbian will get about this big

Also BCC tend to be a little more aggresive.

    here is a good link

    Re: BCI or BCC

I see your in Columbus, OH. Neil Golli(breeder I bought my BCI from) is moving up to that area soon from down here in Florida. He is a great guy!

Thats his website. If you don't see any Boas up on the page send him an email and he will work with you. Good luck on your search.

    Pat,

Dude that snake is the BIGGEST know BCC in the UK. It is certainly not a representation of the average adult size of any BCC.

    Re: BCI or BCC

The other, and most important thing, to remember with BCC's is that they aren't as easy to care for as BCI. A BCC will get stressed from imperfect husbandry a lot faster then a BCI. I've heard many times of BCC getting stressed and dying from moves (different housed or such) and also from inadequate sized caging. They are not a first time boa owner snake, imo. I'd go with a BCI for your first time.
