    shed

ok my baby BP, about 4 months old, just had his first shed, at least with me, now, it seemed to go alright, no eye caps, eyes are clear..except the tail has bits and peices of old skin left...should i leave it for the next shed? or should i place him in warm water and than a warm towel to take it off?

Yes, me too! If it were a stray eye cap I would say leave it alone, given the dangers of messing with the snake's eye. However, because it is a tail, I agree that it ought to be gotten off. Tubby time!!!!

It's pretty easy to get it off. As long a your ball is soaked it should come right off. Your ball will thank you.

    Re: shed

Soak him for 15 minutes and then use a damp wash cloth to apply slight pressure on the tail while he squirms through it...should be off in no time.
