Is this normal?

Alright, It's been my 3rd week owning Taz, my male pastel. Everything is great except lil problems with humidity but nothing alarming. I recently fed him 2 mice that he devoured.
Now I have 2 questions:

He has like 2-3 "white scales".


and I can see his "genitals" a bit is this OK?

The white scales are most likely a scar from feeding live. Such as a scratch. Or a bite. And its healing.

The "genitals" you see actually aren't genitals at all. They're legs!!!!!

Snakes evolved from lizards. And those are known as "spurs". The remnants of legs from this transformation. Kinda neat huh?

scales are most likely from feeding live or rubbing against something in the tank and most balls ive seen have the spurs.... has anyone seen one without?

yeah I knew they had spurs just thought these were his genitals...haha
could the white scales be from falling because he's not long he keeps on falling down when he's exploring... he doesn't look hurt though.
And yes, all Pythons have these Spurs.
