    Regurge

My homie was holding my 6 foot BP. The snake is a 13 year old male that has never had any illnesses. he had a heated hide box that is about 80% humidity and 80-85 degrees. Anyway all of a sudden he stretched his neck and head out and it had an canoe shape. he opened his mouth wide and a clear, semi-gooey substance came out. It almost looked like people do when they throw up water. It was the same texture too with no smell. Please someone help me figure this out. thanks

That sounds a little cool and a bit too wet for a bp. Could be an RI. We had a rescue boa once that came to us dripping mucus out of her mouth and it sounds kinda like that's what yours was doing. If it was a regurge I would imagine you would see some sort of rat remains emerge, not just clear fluid. Get her to a vet.

The first time I receive one of babies I set up in his new tub and he start to drink water, then I realized that the probe of the thermometer was out of place so I pick him out and fix the probe, when handling him to the tub he did the same thing that you describe and it was the WATER that just drank.

Any way just in case take him to the vet if you think it could be another thing or not sure, just in case.
