    2-snake rack?

I may be getting my bro-in-law's snake back, and we're fairly limited on space, so I'd like to consolidate two containers, and maybe come up with a mini-rack. I've already got one snake in a tub, so I'd like to maybe put it on top of a drawer-style tub.

    Anybody have a better idea?

    Sure, it can be done.

What sizemodel tubs, and I can give you a design and cut sizes if you want to build it.

I'm bored, and have been playing with SketchUp all morning designing subwoofer enclosures.

Not 2 but 3, plus you never know and might add something

My current tub is a Sterilite that measures 26.5"X16"X6.5". It seems to be working pretty well, so I wouldn't mind using two of them. I have all the tools and stuff at work, so I'm definitely more into the DIY route.

I forgot to mention, there's very little chance of me ever needing to add to it. My wife set the limit at one snake. The only reason for the potential second is because of special circumstances.

She's really not happy about me keeping mice and whatnot in the basement, either, so I'm not planning on pushing her on more snakes

I'm running in and out of the house right now (yard work). When I get back inside, I'll jump on SketchUp and make you a design, and post it for you with all the dimensions and cuts and such.

Make a deal that you'll start feeding F/T in exchange for more snakes!!!

Or he could just download sketchup and get a jump start! Sketchup is from Google and they have a free version of the program for anyone to use. It's a pretty nifty little program; check it out: http://sketchup.google.com/

    Re: 2-snake rack?

Awesome, thanks! I'll download that and see what I can come up with.

Since the tubs will be semi-enclosed in the rack, I'm guessing my heating/humidifying might take a little tweaking.

I mentioned the idea of f/t to her awhile back. I honestly prefer live feeding, but was intrigued by the cost difference of buying frozen in bulk, not having to make a trip to the pet store, etc.... and she wasn't even cool with me keeping frozen rodents in a separate freezer.
