warm side temps.
what do you keep YOUR warm side rack/tanks at? Not that your thermostat reads, what does your warm side temp probe read out your warm side is?

Re: warm side temps.
I have the thermostat probe inside an empty tub on one rack(8-shelf), taped over the flexwatt. Helix t-stat is set at 94, hotspot reads 94. I have a Herpstat 2 on my 6-shelf adult rack. It is set at 85/80 for 16 hours, and then is bumped back up to 94/84 for the remaining time. They are breeding just fine.

Re: warm side temps.
im having to use back heat (its what my rack has) and the thermostat is having to be set at 105 (thermostat probe is taped to the flexwatt) for me to even get 86.5 on the probe outside the bin and 84.6 inside the bin at the back on top of the substrate. Its taken me since yesterday to finally get the temps up closer to what we want... i was just unsure as to where we need to level off at

Re: warm side temps.
I would recommend going to Home Depot or Lowe's and getting some 3/4" styrofoam insulation board and cutting it to fit all sides of your rack. It will help keep the heat in a bit more. You can cover it with shelf liner paper to make it pretty

Re: warm side temps.
Tyree helped me out with the probe placement.. temps are getting better already and the thermostat is down to 90 degrees instead of 105+! I cant understand how the guy used it before me the way it was set up

Where did you put your probe?
