Ive had my 2 cresties for about 8 months or so now and when I got them the female had laid her very first clutch with the old owners. Ive been keeping them seperated until about a month ago or so and one night I walked in and they were in the heat of the night. This was a few weeks ago I guess, well yesterday when I got home from work I notice the cypress mulch dish I left in there was dug around some so I checked and no eggs. I looked at her and shes bigger than the male now so I felt and I could feel 2 eggs
That just made my day. They will be my first clutch EVER.
The room they are in is 80-84 on the warmer side and 78-80 but sometimes reaches up to 82. Would it be a better idea to take the eggs out of my reptile room and put them somewhere a little cooler?
Do temps change the outcome of the offspring? ie: cooler producing females, warmer producing males?
