    Uh oh.. decision time again

I had a super month at work, and my bonus check in feb. will be enough that I am treating myself to a new morph then. Now.. I narrowed down what I want/can afford. Either a male Albino, or male Orange Ghost. I even picked out two snakes for sale, one of each. But I can't decide which to get! Any words of wisdom?

    Pros:

Albino: I could go for albino pinstripes, which I think are awesome. Could breed the male to my female Pin in Nov.08.. sure, I would have to grow some hets up.. but I also figured I could sell off any extra Pin het Albinos to someone who might need one..

Albino: I have always just wanted an albino, period. My hubby at first was loath to get something that required hets, but I explained to him that these morphs generally keep a higher value (he looks at breeding as more of a $$ thing. I see it as rewarding no matter what.) But I would get a sterile albino, technically, if it were cheaper! Just to be able to look at one.

O.Ghost: I could work him into my Pin/Spider/Pastel group that I already have. Make hets, then even go for honeybees, POGs.. the list would go on. This morph actually is more practical in terms of breeding.. but I love albino looks!

So any ideas to help me? I really am leaning more toward the OG, because POGs and honeybees are just awesome, but it'll definately be some years before I would have those (should have bees for 2009 hatching.) Then I would need to create hets out of those..

Agg! Thanks for reading through this and thanks for any input you might have.
What I have now, is in my signature, if that helps.

is your pin male or female? you could alwasy get a lesser to shoot for kingpins? i think jane still has a cheap female if your pin is male(although i think you said its a girl?)

I like the albino idea though, id never have the patients though to raise the parents and then the hets.

Look on nerds site and other sites for pin combos, and then see if what you mix them with is in your $$$ plans

I'd decide whether I like albinos or the orange ghost combos more, and that answer should help you decide.

Re: Uh oh.. decision time again

This is tough still. See, I like snows a lot too (albino x axanthic.) I plan on getting an axanthic in the future too..
I love the visual appearance of both the albino and the OG. I would be equally thrilled to have either one in my collection, and would probably lose sleep staring at the snake just sitting in its tub You know how it is with getting morphs..
For longterm appearance and joy of owning, you are right, those who sided with Albino. I have always been amazed by them and that has not gone away over the years.. I think that I have decided.

Thats easy. Get the orange ghost! I love the ghost combo's. It seems like everyone except the albino ghost were a knockout!
