    Re: 18 babies 8 eggs

I've had 3 sets of twins in a 5 egg clutch of ball pythons, so I know it's not impossible in a clutch as large as retics have. Unfortunately for me only 1 set of twins hatched and only 1 of those babies lived. The other two eggs I opened up after the other eggs hatched and found dead twins in both eggs.

That is awesome. You can see some yolks on some of the babies. Looks real to me.

Looks and sounds pretty fake to me. Looks very very much staged!

I can also say the video is 100% real. A friend of mine was working there when those hatched out and told me about it.

Also, it is a bad idea to remove babies from their egg, but if you notice all the person in the video is doing is pulling them out a little bit for the video. They were not completely removed. Also, the person pulling them out of the egg is probably the owner, who has probably hatched out well over 2000 retics. So, I'm sure he knows the limits better than the average person.

Ah, well then I believe it's real and he certainly has more experience than I with pipping babies. Just seems harsh, hehe...=)
