New Here, have Ball Pythons, all rescues.. sigh

    Good Afternoon all,
I am on the Reptic Zone, and had heard about this site, but
    hadn't been here before.

I started off with Lola, a very nice 07 Captive Hatch, bought from a pet store..
I then rescued, a 50/50 cal king adult and a ball python from CT.
And then got a young male from a local breeder.
Some friends who are fellow herpers fell in love with Lola and a yellow rat snake I had gotten on a trip to CA.
With much thinking I gave her to them and the rat snake.
I keep T's, and did end up with two panther geckos, and a mexican king snake hatchling from a show.
I placed the BP from CT, with a fellow in IL, and the young male BP, to a nice family in IN.
The local breeder has been the rescue person for our area, but recently got Rhabdovirus (sp?), through out her breeding groups from an infected Het clown female from TX. She has lost quite a few to this, and no longer does the rescue.. So I have
in the past 2 months I have rescued 6 BP's. Usually from pregnant moms, who have either moved, are moving, or found out they can't keep the snake after moving.

We have a strange tendency to name them after anything with a Ball in its name.
Except the new boy, I just got him this morning, I will get pics up later.

    Musket Ball

    Lucille Ball

    Foose Ball

    Cannon Ball

    Happy Fun Ball

    And Elvis the cal king

I look forward to learning, sharing and just being here.

    Hey Carol.

Saw your name earlier today (always nice when people use consistent screen names).

The snakes are looking good (that foose ball - is hot hot hot!).
