i have 2 bp i took 1 out and put in a different tank to feed it. it killed the mouse then was trying to eat it. i needed to leave the room thinking it was going be fine because afther it eats they don't move that much after that a hour or 2 later i come back in the room the was gone out of the tank and the mouse was on the floor next to the tank a it was all wet this happen 3-4 days ago and have not seen the snake since then. it was starting to shed thinking it would make it easy to trace but have even found any skin. i looked under te freezer, stove, chouches, drier, and other tight spots. can u guys give some advice on where look, because im tripping out over this.

Look near where you lost it. In the SMALLEST places available to hide in. They squeeze into tiny crevices. Inside shoes.. up under beds, couchs, esay chairs. Water sources, heat sources are going to attract him.
You can try the putting a dust trail of flour across the floor at doorways, so you can see if the snake crosses it(if you don't have other pets that would disturb it).
You'll probably need to really tear apart the room you lost it in. 2 hours is a LONG time to leave a snake unsecured, since it can move pretty far in ten minutes. They don't tend to wander off far, unless there is no suitable warm hiding spot available.

Sorry that you lost your snake. Why would you leave it in another tank for 2 hours and walk away though? Usually when I take mine out and put it in a tank to feed it I wait about 5-10 minutes after and put it back in its tank.

Is your home big? Like wolfy said look in small spots.

I almost lost one of my snakes (fluffy) into my heat vent I set her on my desk and she crawled into a bunch of papers and i forgot about her untill I saw her empty cage . I saw her just as she was entering my heat vent on the other side of the room.

ive fallen asleep holding mine 2 times, i dont hold them at nite anymore. last time i woke up and found my snake curled up in my arm pit... lol
wont do that again tho.

Well it is your fault for losing it. That was a very irresponsible thing for anyone to do, I think anyone with common sense should know not to leave a snake unsecured.

Yes, I think of them like children...and never assume anything, as soon as you do they prove you a fool. I always try to secure my snake before I turn my back. I had mine on the floor once and my phone rang, turned around to pick it up and by time I looked back I caught a glimpse of her tail going into the fireplace! Lucky me...but good lesson.

Don't leave them unattended.

I must of left a tub barely sticking out of the rack one night, woke up the next morning, went into the snake room and it was gone.

Luckily i found it, Wedged between the wall and a 600 lb gun safe.

Took 4 of us to move the damn thing.

Did this tank have a lid on it? And why were you gone for 2 hours with an unsecured snake?

You're going to have to look in the most impossible places, places you'd never even think of. Good luck.
