    blue tongue skink

    I was thinking of possibly purchasing a blue tongue skink but was wondering whats the best uv bulb to use for it. thanks. I have a 65 gal tank that he/she would be housed in.

    i actually dont have a uv bulb on him. just a basking light, and hes been like that with my girlfriend for years.

    So they dont need any uv then i was reading a few care sheets and they said they need them. hmm. I will keep looking for a better care sheet then lol. thanks man.

    i'm a BTS problably within the next week. Everything i've read says to use UVB. I don't think they need as much as beardeds do though. I'm goin with a 5.0 bulb myself.
