    Holdbacks on a moss background...DUW

I love photos of BPs on solid backgrounds but every once in a while I like to take some shots with them on moss, mulch, or other naturalistic medium. Here are a couple of my favorites that I took over the last week or so.

    Special spider

    Some pastels

    Some normals

Thanks for looking - Kevin Arbogast

Beautiful pictures!! Is that a little piece of left-over shed on the pastel's tail? Great pictures- I love the background!!

    Absolutely wonderful display of photography.

The spider is one seriously reduced specimen and some nice pastels too.

    Great stuff!

Yeah, that is a piece of shed on his tail. He was doing his best impersonation of a baby rattlesnake and infact I was so focused on taking his photo while avoiding being bitten that I didn't even notice the piece of shed skin until I looked at the pics later. He is a fiesty one but still a looker.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, I appreciate it!
