It just stays wet and starts to mold with a white fuzz if you don't change it all out. I use Aspen and spot clean constantly, then clean and sterilize all the tubs once a month and I've never had any problems. Carefresh tubs needed to be cleaned and sterilized every week or two or the stuff looked bad and had a chance of getting the white fuzz. I just don't think it's very obsorbant at all when compared to shredded woods by volume.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?

Yeah I figured itd drop it a little too. But its holding better than newspaper. I just fed him on it this last friday. Had to lay some newspaper down on it.

I hated it. Haha. I like the simplicity of the newspaper. But I want him to be able to burrow also. Dilemma.....

And I don't like feeding out of the enclosure. So this may be the first and last bag of the stuff. As much as I like it
