anyone can change their ways this is true. and another note any one can clean knowing a customer is coming and then not clean for a few months again and be right back in the same place. IBD, RI dont just go away and when some one risks putting many snakes in the same tub for "holding" or even just living together i then know that i WILL NOT buy from this person. i clean every week and if there is any poo or pee in the cage it gets cleaned. after seeing photos from some one that worked for BIG DADDY and said they were hired to clean and yet were put off installing pipe and so on that shows me what he really cares about. it looks like the racks and cages/tanks were thrown together and not taken care of at all. there is no need to even comment anymore.

    Re: What kind is this?

actually i do pose a question to BIG DADDY. as much as you say that everyone that has come to your place says how nice everything looks and so on, why not comment on the pictures that were taken and tell me and the other members of this forum why you had so many animals in one tub? why were the tubs as nasty as they were? why would you not let your employee clean as he was hired for but rater have him do personal work for you while these animals live like this? and if people were to say your place is nice but are "scared" to say something, why? i have been to many herpers houses and will tell you straight up, friend or not, if their collection was well taken care of or if they needed to clean and dont keep things up to par as a business should

ibd or not the question is still on the boi and never answered instead of taking pics why wasnt the employee doing his job and also can we really trust that person after the reason why he was fired!

on another not i have one snake from adam its still alive and never had any issues, but i did make sure it was well quarantined.
i just wonder how much of these accusations stem from the fact that adam does sell just a tad bit too cheap from time to time. its funny every time someone does sell cheap its they got ibd or they are diseased or the poed breeder trys to get the sellers rodent order discontinued!(this happened with 2 local breeders) might i add im not buying from them again!

Its usually the same people that don't help support the market that practice sub par business and husbandry practices. Its like smoking and developing cancer, its not guaranteed but you surely increase your odds. I doubt accusations stem from any pricing issues alone.

    Re: What kind is this?

I like how they try to focus on those pictures... "he wasnt doing his job!" "that's illegal!" "they're staged" "He should have been cleaning instead of goofing off!!"

Yes okay, focus on the pictures. Really though, FOCUS ON THE PICTURES. If I had an employee slacking for 3 days, he would be gone. And you know what I would be doing? CLEANING. CLEANING. and CLEANING SOME MORE.

Blaming filthy conditions on a temporary employee is not owning up to the responsibility that these animals were ultimately HIS responsibilty.

It's very clear that these conditions were horrendous, how could he have not noticed??
If I had people working under me with my lively hood, you bet your bum I would be following up and making sure I'm paying them for work that meet my standards.

Anything your employess do, comes down to the Boss. Meaning, if your employess screw around and dont clean, hire some news ones. Maybe some more man power was needed. Maybe Allen should have supervised.
Regardless, Allen is the one that has to deal with the conditions of those animals, and if his employees can't take care of it, he should have been the one cleaning up after them after 1 DAY, not neglecting them for weeks until it got to the mess shown in the pictures.

Animals should not be the last on the to do list, esp when your business is selling animals.
