    Cleaning Day!

Sunday is my scheduled cleaning day. I just got myself a new digital camera and I had to try it out. I have mostly normals. Enjoy.

My big normals - male (Stippey) and female (Mildred)

My spider Minx - in shed right now so she's a little dull

    Here is Veronica

    Maia

These are some 07 imports I got back around June. The lighter female has some really pretty peachy color, I'm interested to see what she will look like as an adult.

And some close ups of the peachy female

They were captive hatched. There is a very reputable local pet store nearby with quality animals that gets imports every year. They won't sell the animals until they are feeding properly. I go in there a lot. They let me go through their racks in the back room and pick some out.

They were clean, have a fantastic feeding response and I haven't had a problem with them at all.

Ashley, they are likely CH (captive hatched) and there are a lot of distributors online that you can buy from and choose from pictures that they have posted. Many of my unique looking females are also CH babies from Africa. April and May are the best times to start checking out distributor sites (Ben Siegel, Michael Cole, Neil Golli, Will Bird, jnj Reptiles, etc).

Lovely animals that you have Staci! I also see that you're using the HerpEnclosures rack, do you love it as much as I love mine?

thanks ladies thats great staci. i would love to hand select a CB animal like that, shes very pretty. Cameron, our normal female is nice but we didnt have many to choose from because we got her so late in the season, our breeder didnt have many females this year that he didnt hold back.

Love it enough that I plan on purchasing another one in the next few months. Great product!

    Re: Cleaning Day!

Beautiful animals!! Thanks for sharing. It's hard for me to believe that my little guy is going to get as big as the ones you posted in the top photo. I know they all get rather large and chunky, it's just odd for me to look at him and link him with the bigger ones. Just like it's hard for me to look at my 5-6' boa and link him with the tiny little things they hatch out to be.

Oh, and by the way, yours look extremely healthy. Good job!
