in the ball python manual there is record of a female laying eggs at 35 years old.

I have a ball python in my house. I want to breed her when she's big enough. Anyone know how big she has to be for breeding?
(She's about 20 inches long and is a juvenille ball python)
If so, let me know.

Generally the rule of thumb is 2- 3 years old, weighing 1500+ grams.

4 years and 2500grams.. males should be 3 years and 1756.75grams.. If you dont hit these weights Dead on, You wont get eggs...

And how did you come up with that?
People have bred BPs weighing less and have gotten eggs...
Yes, you want both snakes to be healthy and mature enough (2-3 years for females) but how can you claim that you "have to be at those weights"????
