    Our hog and her home

This was a gift from Lori and the kids. This is probably the only colubrid I have ever wanted to keep.

Very nice looking Hog. I have always liked hogs, and plan on getting a few in a couple years.

I must say though, that when I read the title, I expected to see one in a pen that weighed about 300 lbs.

LOL as loud as her hiss is now for being such a little thing I would love to hear how loud she would be if she was that big.

Man, when I thought of getting a Hoggy I didn't know they were that attractive! I'm actually going to get one soon and judging by those pics I think I'll go with buying a juvy.

She is cool. Eventually I want a couple tri colored.

You best bet is a western which is what she is. Easterns are hard to get to switch off of frogs. She has been eating mice since day one no problem.

I am with you on those coloubrids and the hognoses. The hogs are my favorite and although I don't have any yet, I'm sure one day I will... and they'll be keepers!

I didn't notice how stout the little hoggy was (and that's good because I would prefer a stocky snake). It looks stouter than those "12 Northern Brown Snakes I have in my backyard and it's less than a foot long!

I love the enviornement you have the hoggy in, very nice. How much upkeep does it take? The tank, is that a screen top, what size is it and where did you find it?

Not to much. The only down side to it is I don't see her much. She is always burrowed under the aspen.
