rat rack question?
So i've been thinking bout making a rat rack and I just have one problem... where do I get the black tubs for the rack? Is there a place that sell them in ontario?

They are cement mixing tubs. I dont know about Canada but here in the states you can get them at Home Depot

Got mine at home depot, they have 2 sizes i went with the small, wish are 27.5x19.75x6 that worked for me and at only 4.80 a tub its a steel, hope you can find them in canada.

I've read or seen vids on more then one Canadian herper who has said they cant find them in canada. They are availible onlne for good prices bt I dont know how bad the shipping would be. Might be worth looking into

Wow...I have 18 with no holes at all. Not even a hint of chewing.
I can take some pics of the rack with the bus tubs that have been in use for over a year now, if anyone would like to see them.
Sounds like you need to cull the chewers. They learn from each other. Also make sure food and water are always available. Hunger or thirst could drive them to seek a way out.
IDK.. something just don't sound right there.

I get a chance, I will take pics of destroyed tubs....
strange...all have the same feed and watering schedules and only the bus tubs get chewed through....
reason they chew is because there are edges to chew and scratch on....
