    Is there any substrate you cant use provent a mite with?

    Is there any substrate that can not be sprayed by provent a mite? I use bed a beast right now....any problems with that? Thanks for any advice....

    All the common dry snake beddings are fine...the only time you cannot use PAM is with moist beddings. So fresh out of the bag cypress or other wood beddings would need to dry out first (water makes the active ingredient in PAM breakdown)

    As for Bed-a-Beast I think it too starts out moist and then drys out...you would want to wait till it dries out to use PAM on it (not to mention the PAM has to dry anyway before you replace your snake)

    That is fine (it is a dry substrate )

    Just make sure and follow the directions on the can exactly.

    this may be a dead thread, but i just wanted to compliment lord jackel on that awesome quote from V for Vendetta! haha i loved that, and i couldnt stop thinking about how cool it would be to memorize it and just bust it out someday.

    LOL...Well Thank you. It is one of my favorite movies. In fact last year for Halloween I dressed up as V and did memorize the line (took me 2 weeks) for a party I went to. I cannot do it from memory any longer but I got a standing party ovation that night...of course then I had to explain to everyone what it meant.
