    1 Month update on "rescue"

I put rescue in quotes as I didn't really rescue it from death, though I honestly think if it stayed with its previous owner it would of died. I am sure most of you remember a 100% het pied I purchased 1 month back, and when I got it, it looked like this:

    http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v7...t=badshed1.jpg

and its bone structure was poking out of its skin and had no weight to it at all, he weighed in at 416g. Crazy under weight and completely unsafe. well just after a few days of getting him I was able to get him cleaned up, THE POOR THING HAD 2 SHEDS ON! to this:

Well, I am happy to announce that just after 1 month of being with me, he hasn't refused a single rat from me, although the previous owner says he was a picky eater and thats why he was so damn thin, and he weighed in at 471g. A major improvement! Then I come home today and find a single complete 100% intact shed from him, and a large stool sample mind you, and he is back down to 417g, which means he had to of put on weight if he was able to pass that much of a stool and stay the same weight. heres a pic of him after his fresh shed, that he was able to do completely on his own, and in his freshly cleaned tub:

Still on the thin side, but at least he is making great progress.

oh ya, the other little ones are good too.

He is still a bit thin, but definitely an black and white difference. Congrats on the good shed, and his consistant feeding schedule. Job well done, keep up the good work.
