    Repticon Tallahassee Sept 15th

My wife and I got up early this morning to make the drive to Tallahassee from Panama City to check out the Repticon. Went looking for a young male to raise with our female to make a breeding pair later on down the road.

It was a pretty small venue it seemed, my first reptile show, looked to be about 10 or 11 setups.

After walking around and looking at all the displays, searching for the male BPs and talking to the vendors, we were drawn back to Tom Carlton from Cypress Creek Captive Bred Reptiles. His display was very well laid out, all the animals looked in perfect condition and he was very helpful. With his help we decided on a male Spider Ball. He is quite alert and very plump. Much better condition than our female was in when we got her from a local pet store. He also had on display some other incredible looking snakes. Pieds, Mojaves, Pastels, Stripes, a Voodoo Ball and a nice range of others...all pretty well priced.

If your thinking about going tomorrow it was worth the trip for me. Went out with a snake in mind and got just what I was looking for. The venue is pretty small but there are some very nice animals there to be had.

I'm actually thinking about giving one of the other vendors a call tomorrow morning to see if we can strike a deal on an Albino.

I'll try n get some pics in this thread later on tonight.

Looks like it's time for a new camera as well.
