    Exclamation Ahh! Shipping Nightmare! Help!

    I have an '07 yellowbelly male coming in from jnjreptiles scheduled for a Tuesday 10:30am delivery. aka THIS MORNING !!! I have been home all day long up since 7 trying to figure out what fedEx's deal is! I keep refreshing the tracking and it says In Transit from Memphis, TN. Still not even at the local center! What can i do?!? Since its 8:30pm its not likely my guy's gonna make it here tonight

    Has anyone had a snake take longer than the scheduled overnight delivery? Did you have any problems with your snakes health because of it? Im sure he's gonna be extremely stressed! HELP!! please!!

    Did you call Fedex when it missed the 10:30 a.m. shipment, or the shipper?

    Take a deep breath and call the Fedex hotline.

    Explain the situation, and find out what is going on. Also contact JnJ and let them know how upset you are (They should be too).

    Both of you should pester Fedex until some type of conclusion is reached. It has happened to me before for some VERY expensive animals, and it all turned out okay, as long as the packaging is well done.

    I have been emailing and calling all day! The best response i have recieved is "the tracking info says it's in transit, so it's still not here yet" (local fedex location) I'm so frustrated and scared I am still waiting on an email reply and a phone call from the inquiry I made through fedex.com. I also emailed the shipper but not until just before i made this post because i figure its out of his hands, its fedex's problem now. but what else can i do? is there some other fedex number i can call to talk to someone who will actually be helpful?

    I know you really don't want to hear this, but sit back and take a deep breath. I agree that its probably too late for your package to be delivered tonight. If the person you bought from packed him well, an extra day in trasnit will not be a big problem.


    I would not give up on calling FedEx though. If they didn't get him here today, you need to make sure he gets to you tomorrow. Do you know your local FedEx rep? If so, call him or her. Is there a local FedEx office that is still open? If so, go there and ask them in person to check out the shipment. Please let us know what happens.

    im on the line now they are still telling me there was a problem it could have been stuck in memphis they are having an additional tracking agent call me back and they gave me a claim number incase of refund.
    I DONT CARE about refund though i want this guy to be healthy! i dont want him to be stressed from the hassle of all this shipping!!

    The last snake I got from JnJ was very well packed. Even if he does wind up spending two days in transit, he should be okay. Make sure he has fresh water in his new tub and give him some time to unwind.
    Definitely let JnJ know what happened.

    JnJ just emailed me back he said he also has called FedEx. They told us both that there was a mechanical problem on the plane and unfortunately he wont get here until tomorrow. Im praying for the little guy!

    I know this can be stressful, but as others have said, a properly packed animal will be fine for an extra day, probably even longer. I had a snake get delayed two days once (first was mechanical plane so it never got shipped, then somehow the label came off). All was well though. I haven't done business with JnJ, but if others vouch for their packing quality then you should have nothing to worry about.
