Re: Our Accidental find
Congrats on the new little snake. So sorry you lost the other two. Perhaps those with more import experience could comment but isn't that sort of liver failure seen in imported hatchlings due to them being not properly hydrated immediately after shipping?

From what I understand from the vet thats exactly what the problem was. By the time they got to me the damage had been done and there was little I could do for them. They seemed healthy enough when they first arrived aside from being stressed of course, but once the vet took a look at them it was a whole nother story. Already had Tatsu to a vet and she's in great health though so we are expecting a long happy life for her.

I remember reading your other post and feeling terrible. I am glad that you did'nt let that terrible situation turn you away from keeping another snake. They really are a joy to have which I am sure you will see as you and your new boy bond.
Good luck and post pictures from time to time.

Thank you, I could never turn away from having snakes. I adore them. Tatsu is just the sweetest girl and now that we have Gaia also things are wonderful. They just love eachother. It's great.

Are they housed together? I usually don't hear people say their snakes love each other unless they are housed together.
Tatsu is a lovely snake, congrats!
