A quick question about temps

My fiance and I were talking about temperatures for incubating eggs because I had remembered that temperature for incubating was different for turtles and snakes. I think that cooler temps produce males, mid temps produce both and high temps produce females, correct? Or am I way off?

Snakes have chromosome determined gender like us so aren't like some of the other reptiles that sometimes have incubation temperature determined gender.

However, snakes are different in that it's the mother's contribution that determines the gender of the babies (with people it's the father’s). Female snakes are zw and male snakes are zz. So if the female gives a w the baby is a girl and if mom gives a z it's a boy.
