What kind of Red Tail is this?

Hi! Just picked up this guy the other day, very sweet animal, got the guy down to $100, thought he was well worth it. Just curious what kind of red tailed boa is it? He is very light colored, with a faint pink tone. I thought he might be a Suriname, but I really have no experience with RTBs. Thanks in advance!

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

where did you get it from? It has a few peru boa aspects, and usually I'm sure about what a boa is, but ya stumped me. My first thought was a cross.

It looks like a common boa(BCI) to me. Probably in light phase.

the peaks on the saddles and the tail are really throwing me off, that's why I said cross.

Re: What kind of Red Tail is this?

A VERY nice, clean Columbian BCI (commonly known as a red tail boa).

She may have some mix in her way back down the line, but it's common for Columbian BCI to have peaks just behind the head and a little down the body. Here's Kinky, my adult female BCI, for reference (with an adult female BP):

As far as I'm concerned, no boa is going to be 100% true BCI or BCC. Their territories overlap far too frequently, and I'm sure blood has blended at some points along the way.

    Hope this helps

The head pattern and saddle markings makes me think it's a cross. Most likely Colombian, and probably Suriname. Nice looker!
