    Surprise shed?

So I checked on my female to see how things were going and making sure she hadn't flipped her water bowl over, as she does often, and I found a shed in the corner of the tank, and then pieces of shed all over the place. I had no idea she was going to shed, I never once saw any signs of the shed coming, and so I didn't up the humidity for her and her shed was less then complete. I sprayed the tank down and within a few hrs it was all off (she likes to climb on stuff so the extra humidity and her rubbing stuff got it all off). Has anyone else had a snake that just up and shed and you didn't have a clue it was coming?

Actually i have, the last shed was pretty out of nowhere. I came home and checked on her and there she was in the middle of shedding I hurried and sprayed her down and she got off most of it. i had to help with the rest though

Heh, yep. My little girl's first shed with me was a total surprise. Just found pieces all over the place with her humidity at 43%... needless to say I had to soak her the next day. Seems they just like to keep us on our toes.
