Oopsy Daisy!
So, I had contacted this girl on Craigslist about this female that she had up for adoption. I asked her how she knew that it was female and she said that her friend is a vet tech and had sexed it when she got it.
So, we made arrangements for me to pick it up on Monday. I met her, checked the snake out, popped it in the bag, paid her the adoption fee and went on my merry way. I didn't sex it at the time, because I never told her that I was only interested if it was a female.
Get it home - and yup - it's a boy! So, I've got this very nice normal male, and I'm not quite sure what I'll do with him yet. I initially thought I'd keep him a month or two, make sure he feeds, and then put him up for sale. But the more I look at him, the more I'm not sure. I don't need a normal male, but there's just something "odd" about him I can't put my finger on.
So, here he is. He has a very burgundy cast to him, and has a very clean belly, as well as the markings in his pattern and on his neck stripe are like a faded chocolate.

he looks like a very healthy snake. As far as anything being odd though, I think he looks pretty normal.

Very Pretty,
I find it odd that all the reduced snakes just flock your way lol

LOL Rich! They don't flock my way - I just am always keeping my eye out for them. I just don't tell you guys about the ones that I by-pass or pick up for others.

He's gorgeous Robin, though I'm sorry to hear he's a he and not a she. I know whatever decision you make on this snake's benefit will be a sound one, based on your love of these snakes. Whether you keep him or place him elsewhere, I know he'll be just fine now.

Nice find, Robin... I can see what you see in this guy... a very attractive snake, and you never know what kind of genetics they can carry that might just even clean up other morphs.

i think for a normal he is quite, quite pretty. nicely reduced as others here stated. someone else also said he'd clean up some lines, i think he'd have some killer babies with a reduced female.

He definitely a hottie. Too bad he had to be a boy. Although, I think he's make some SUPER hot babies with any one of your girls.
