new to the site
whas up everyone. my name is manny, and i'm new to snakes and everything. i been a dog guy my whole life, but my new appartment dont let people have them. when i was in the army, i took care of a few snakes for my buddies and decided that i would try to own one of my own. well, i started off with one, now i have two. both of them are ball pythons, and i love them both to death. living in the middle of nowhere in such a small town, most people have already dubbed me the snake guy on account that i go everywhere with them. sparticus, the more chilled and friendly of the two likes to wrap himself up in my hair. it takes most people by suprise, but its always a good laugh. anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. peace

Re: new to the site
Welcome aboard!
Ball pythons aren't usually very "social" snakes, for all that they are typically docile and accepting of our handling. If one or either of them ever goes off feed unexpectedly and you can't figure out why, you might try not taking them on outings. Also, being frequently exposed to less-than-optimum temps, or temps that fluctuate a great deal, can put them at risk for repiratory infections. Just thought I'd mention that to give you some food for thought.
Looking forward to getting to know you and your snakes! Post pictures when you can...we love pictures here!
