    What do you think?

My name is Kristine and I just got my first BP about a month ago and all is going quite well currently. This is a dream come true to have a snake. Now to my question, my favorite of any animal has always been the albino of the species. I found a person in Canada who is selling Albinos from $400-800 depending on the age of the snake. Now I was wondering if this was something that was defiantly too good to be true? Has anyone dealt with anyone in Canada? There have been a few occasions where I have seen individuals selling their male albinos at around $800, so that is why I would like the opinion of people from this wonderful site. Thanks in advance.

400.00 -800.00 CAD is a little lower than the normal price.

Have you thought about the paperworks that are required and the fee of 500$ that you will have to pay since the seller is in Canada and you are in the US

Basically it would cost you more to buy it from a Canadian breeder than it would from a US breeder, plus you know what they say about deals that are too good to be true???

    Re: What do you think?

Im from Canada, who is the breeder, there are a couple really good breeders up here, now 400-800 is a good price i would say the average would be around 800-1000 range so not far off 400 is prob for a male. Let me knwo who the breeder is and ill fill ya in, if its markus jayne then your all set.

I did not know about the $500 fee that’s why I asked Thank you for letting me know about it. I guess it is something that I should not do, I guess I will have to find a 100% het female to go with my male. Any more opinions or information would be greatly appreciated. I thank all of you for your wonderful knowledge and the willingness to share with us n00bs

I could see that being het's but quality albinos are still 1000-1100 for 07 's here.
Try asking about the seller in the Canadian B.O.I.

    Re: What do you think?

if you get a female het albino, and breed her to your normal, the babies would be 50% possable hets. they all would look normal, but you have a 50/50 chance that one of the babies are het. it might be easier if you really like albinos, is to talk to a breeder and get on a payment plan. then a couple of months or saving and you have your very own albino.
