Hello From Bahrain
Hi everyone,
Just found some time to visit and say hello while serving my country over here in the Arabian Gulf. Things are fine here and hope with you all. But anyway even though I'm over here on the other side of the world, people are still bringing snakes to my home in Texas. My wife called and said that someone brought her very large female BP. The story is that this snake was living in the garage with no heat and in a 10 gallon tank with screen top. The snake is 12 years old and the people were moving and could'nt take the snake with them. As of now my wife has set her up in a Rubbermaid with heat and I ordered her a new AP cage. Also they said she hasn't eaten since December. My wife fed her a couple of mice and she took them right away. She weighed her before feeding and she weighed in at 3700gms...WOW. Also my wife says she is very sweet and very curious. And as you see my son has found a new friend. Enjoy the pic and I'll try and get somemore to post.

Re: Hello From Bahrain
Wow, man, nice save! I bet she'll pack on the pounds (or grams) in no time.
Bahrain, huh? Though I'm sure you miss your family, it has to be amazing visiting entirely new places.

Our family sends their thanks for your service. Keep safe, keep your head down and come home to your family as soon as you can.
That's a lovely big female and I'm sure she'll do beautifully under your wife's good care.

Re: Hello From Bahrain
Very good looking girl. I am glad she can now be cared for properly now, as she deserves to be.
Take care over there, and make sure you come back safe and sound. I tried to make my way back over there for a third time, but the wife said no.

On behalf of myself and my whole family, our humble thanks and gratitude. It won't be long before my own husband heads out that direction and I'll be counting on guys like you to keep him safe!!
That's a gorgeous BP your wife rescued! Can't wait to see some follow up pics in a few months to see how much bigger and prettier she gets with regular feeding and proper care!

Re: Hello From Bahrain
Wow I misread that! Didn't realize that snake was stuffed into a 10 gallon tank! Our biggest girl is just around 3,200 grams and I don't know how in heck you'd ever stuff Brannagh's big butt in a tank that size. Poor snake, how awful that must have been for her.

Re: Hello From Bahrain
Wow; that poor snake was stuffed into a 10g tank! It is a wonder she looks as good as she does.
I thank you for serving our country, and admire you for it.
