Jeff Hartwig, buy from him?

Like I said, anybody done any business with Jeff Hartwig ? I've heard he has the blackest of the black bloods, and they sure are. lol I will probably buy one for my boyfriend in august. [who's the best GF? ] Just trying to get some feedback about him and his snakes.

Some of my nicest Sumatran short-tailed (black) pythons have come from Jeff. He's a straight-up guy & just wonderful to deal with. A black-on-black male I got from him several years ago produced some KNOCKOUTS for me this year (keeping every single one!) bred to my darkest female...his bloodlines are just fantastic. Big, robust babies, docile temperaments, fantastic feeders.

Something to keep in mind when considering Jeff's Sumatran blacks - "He who hesitates, sleeps alone!" His animals sell out quite quickly, and it's a no-brainer as to why!

Also, make sure you check out the section on Jeff's website about his pole vaulting career. He's an Olympic athlete, and knows all about hard work & dedication, and it shows in his reptiles too.

Not trying to be effusive here. I just think it's a great thing when you meet someone in this industry/hobby who is genuinely a nice person, and it's cool to see them do well. Jeff is truly one of those "someones" - if you're ever at a herp show where he & his wife set up, definitely introduce yourself. 2 of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet!

I have purchased several animals from Jeff. He is a great guy. All animals are super healthy and beautiful. He's a great guy to deal with. He is very knowledgeable, and happy to share that knowledge with you. I highly recommend him.
