    Blue Balls??? Pics included

Ok this is from a few months back. I noticed it when I was feeding him...the spots are gone now, but just recently it was on my mind as to what on earth they were???

Also the spot was only on that side.

Any help would be great...anyone had this before? should i be worried?

*Yes I know the mouse was too big...this was back when I was still a super noob.

is that a black rat he's eating?

Looks to me like the blackness of fur showing through the transparency of the snakes skin.

ooo..this is tough dont remember. I know I have never fed him an all black rat...if that helps...usually white and sometimes the brown and white ones...maybe 6 or 9 of the all brown ones.

that is some crazy stuff...never knew their skin was somewhat transparent. I almost want to test this.

Nate you may be right...looking through some pics...

These pics were taking in April 2 months after the previous pics

    The rat he ate

You can see a faint bit of blue in the same spot...but when this happened it was only on one side so still kinda confused...maybe some organ was preventing it from being seen on the other side?

really appreciate the replies...my mind can almost rest in peace.

In my experience, highly unlikely. That would be a LOT of blood. I've seen blood come out of a rat 2 different ways...the first way was thawing a frozen rat and its nose was bleeding...barely 2 or 3 drops of blood. The next bloody mess i saw was a thawed rat spilling his guts out when my snake constricted..and even then, most of the blood ended up in the enclosure, not going down in a manner that would show through his skin.
