770g good for a BP approaching 1 year?
The boy I bought from NERD a few months ago is now around a year old. I have never weighed him until I bought a digital scale last week. He weighed in at 770g.
He has been nothing but a pleasure. He has eaten every week since I got him and has had two perfect sheds in that time. Looking at him now compared to when I first got him is night and day obviously. I am just bummed I havent recorded his growth until now. Is 770g good for a snake of this age?
I will post some new pics tomorrow night when i'm cleaning his cage.
Thanks,
Jason

Sounds right on target to me!

Excellente!
Consider yourself lucky. I had a great feeder up until one year old... then he quit eating anything for months... and months... then would only eat mice and scarcely. He's about 3 years old now and doesn't even weigh 700gms.
Having a good feeding BP is a real joy for me now, lol. Congrats on the good steady weight gain!

well all snakes have different growth rates, so there is really no set weight be year kind of thing. but it sounds like you got a nice healthy boy there. couple more months you might have to get him a female....

Thanks for the quick feedback guys, much appreciated.
That's great news, if he's on target I am happy.
