    Tub size? I'm so confused....

Hey guys, I have a baby BP who is about 2 months old, and he's currently in a 35qt sterlite. I think it's the same size as a 21 but just higher. Anyway, the temp's are perfect for it and I'm having a lot of success with it. The only thing I'm confused about is how many of our other BP members get them to live in 12 qts

How do you do it? I mean, it looks so small for him, and i can't even fit two hides in there??? Or do you only have one?? which will make TONS of sense. Please let me know, I don't have a scale so I can't weigh him yet but I will work on that. I guess the only thing you can work with is the fact that he was born on 5/10/07. Thanks for the click guys.

Tubs of the smaller size are pretty much like one big hide. Remember balls like small tight places. Bigger isn't always better.

Is it just a tub or a rack.

If its just a tub offer two hides.

I keep my baby snakes in a 6qt tub. It is with in a rack, so they only get one hide. It have had great success with it that way...

My tub isn't in a rack, but it is under another tank like in it's own shelf space which is pretty dark, but not like enclosed... it's exposed on two sides.

Does that still mean two hides?

I go by weight for BP up to 500 grams I use 12 Quarts (16 3/8"L x 11 1/2"W x 5 7/8"H) and only one hide as the tub provide extra security that other type of enclosures do not provide.

Smaller enclosure with proper temps & humidity = BP that feed with consistency = Stress free BP = Thriving BP
