Baby beardies eat ALOT. If you don't feed them enough they will nip at anything that moves/wiggles which is usually one of their siblings toes. I have NEVER had this happen to me because I feed my babies 3 of 4 times a day and mist them with water 2 or 3 times a day. If you feed them once a day some eat and others don't and then the hungry ones start nipping at any movement. Beardies(lizards in general) are enticed by the movement of insects so toes are mistaken for them by hungry babies. They are hatched in clutched of 15 to 30 and when housed together this can happen. They grow fast and have voracious appetites. Happens all the time from people not feeding correctly.
Limp legs are usually a sign of calcium deficiency. Food items should be dusted with calcium or vitamin powder which many people also don't do. Inbreeding also causes problems similar to this. It is good to get beardies from reliable sources and most pet stores are not educated or patient enough to care for babies correctly.
